Photo safaris can be done in conjunction with a hunting safari or separately as a photo safari only. DE KLERK SAFARIS offers several different options and tours to choose from. Each tour can be adapted to suit the need of that particular group.

Photo Daily rates include:

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off
    All transportation during your visit (vehicle and fuel)
  • Cooler with bottled water, soft drinks, and traditional snacks like biltong or jerky
  • Full service and knowledge of a professional guide
  • Your guide’s accommodation and meals
  • Insurance coverage up to $1 million
  • All park and game reserve entrance fees
  • Occasional traditional South African braai (barbeque) meals when possible

Photo Daily rates exclude:

  • Airfare and charter flights
  • Hotel or lodge accommodation
  • Meals and alcoholic beverages
  • Optional excursions (hot air balloon, helicopter rides, sunset cruises, night drives, etc.)
  • Value Added Tax (VAT) of 15% on daily rates
  • Gratuities for camp or hotel staff and your guide

Terms & Conditions (Photo Safaris)

  • Safari start when clients are picked up (either at airport or hotel, guest house)
  • Daily rates are on a shared basis (2 persons per room). Single supplement will apply ($100 / room / night). Daily rates are charged per night spent
  • All reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and good health of clients will be taken. However, no liability will be accepted for injury, loss or illness during or after the safari.
  • A deposit is required to confirm the booking and to secure your dates
  • No refund of deposit can be made if client cancels safari within 6 months of contracted starting date, unless the safari can be re-booked. Should the dates be re-booked or the client cancels the safari more than 6 months before starting date a 10 % administration fee will be charged on the total sum of the safari.
